Affected California Employers Must Now Submit 300A Electronically
On April 30, 2018, federal OSHA posted a “trade release” requiring all affected employers to submit injury and illness data in the federal OSHA Injury Tracking Application (ITA) online portal, even if the employer is covered by a state plan that has not adopted their own state rule (including California).
Affected employers (see NAICS codes below) must submit their Log 300As for February, March and April for the previous year (2017) by July 1, 2018 electronically to OSHA via their ITA portal.

- Industries with 250 or more employees
- Industries with 20 to 249 employees

Beginning in 2019 and every year thereafter, affected employers must submit their information by March 2.
